The Morning Haiku
Kevin Brown and the Beloved Country is an Americana band fronted by singer-songwriter Kevin Brown, a repeat collaborator on past Posy Rae projects.
For the album The Morning Haiku, I designed the complete vinyl and CD package, a hand-crafted paper scene brought to life with a painted background, built around the imagery and themes from the album’s songs.

THE ASK
Kevin Brown, a repeat collaborator, asked for the cover art for his new album, The Morning Haiku, built around the title track's haiku about a grandchild leading him outside.
THE SOLUTION
Designed a layered paper scene with a hand-painted background, showing a father and child walking beneath a Koa tree that shifts from a warm daytime palette on the front cover to a starlit night sky on the back.
THE RESULT
The result was a full vinyl sleeve, front and back cover, record label art, and liner credits, plus a trifold CD packaging and CD art.
